Sporty Group’s channel acquires broadcasting rights for 2025 Brazilian Championship Series B

The channel Nosso Futebol, which belongs to the Sporty Group - also owner of the betting company SportyBet - has acquired the broadcasting rights for Brazil’s Série B Championship starting with the 2025 season. The agreement was signed with the two entities that organize the tournament: Libra (Liga do Futebol Brasileiro) and Liga Forte União (LFU). Under the new deal, the channel will have the right to broadcast two matches per round, totaling 56 live games throughout the competition.

The broadcasts will be broadcast on the linear channel Nosso Futebol, available on pay TV.

The new partner's broadcasting debut will be this Friday (6), with the duel between Cuiabá and Paysandu.

"Serie B deserves projection, investment and space, and today we took another important step in that direction," commented Gabriel Lima, CEO of LFU.

It is increasingly important for Série B to have a relevant media product. One that is thought out and valued. The agreement with Nosso Futebol reaffirms this direction,” added Silvio Matos, Libra’s executive director.

In addition to Nosso Futebol, other channels and platforms also broadcast Série B games: Disney+ (streaming), ESPN (pay TV), Rede TV! (open TV) and Desimpedidos (YouTube).

Since it was acquired by Sporty Group at the beginning of the year, the Nosso Futebol channel has expanded its operations. It currently broadcasts more than 400 live matches per year on its pay TV and digital platforms.

In addition to Série B, the channel also holds the broadcast rights for Série C of the Brazilian Championship, the French Cup, the European League of Football (ELF) — a European American football league —, selected Bundesliga games, regional tournaments and women’s football championships. Some of these competitions are also available for free on Nosso Futebol’s YouTube channel.

The group also announced that new content and competitions will be announced in the coming months, expanding its presence in the Brazilian sports market.
