The meeting’s agenda includes the official founding of the union, approval of the bylaws, definition of the state territorial base, election and inauguration of the first executive board and fiscal council. Authorization for registering the entity with the Civil Registry of Legal Entities and the Ministry of Labor and Employment will also be deliberated.
To participate in the assembly, companies must prove their operation in the sports betting and online gaming sector in São Paulo and be represented by partners, directors, or legally appointed attorneys. Accreditation requires submission of an official photo ID with CPF, the company’s articles of incorporation, a copy of the CNPJ, notarized power of attorney, and proof of the representative's affiliation with the company.
The organization of the process is overseen by a committee formed by representatives of three companies in the sector: Ana Clara Marques de Barros Santos (Sol Serviços de Intermediação Ltda.), Laura Beatriz de Souza Morganti (Betboom Ltda.), and Barbara Rodrigues Lima Teles (Stake Brazil Ltda.).
The notice complies with all legal requirements for founding a union, including publication in a widely circulated state newspaper and the Federal Official Gazette. NOTICE OF CONVENTION FOR GENERAL MEETING
By this notice, all companies operating sports betting and online gaming with headquarters or operations in the State of São Paulo are hereby summoned to participate in the General Meeting for the Formation, Foundation, Approval of the Bylaws, Election and Inauguration of the Executive Board and Fiscal Council, as well as the deliberation on the registration of the union entity with the Civil Registry Office of Legal Entities and the Ministry of Labor and Employment of the Union of Sports Betting and Online Gaming Operators of the State of São Paulo - SINDIBETS/SP, to be held on July 31, 2025, at 4:00 p.m., in the first call with all accredited companies present. The meeting will be held in person at the address: Rua Dr. Guilherme Bannitz, 126, suite 81, Itaim Bibi, São Paulo-SP, Zip Code 04532-060, and online at platform: https://meet.google.com/och-mrfn-fpr, simply clicking on the link for direct access, with the following agenda: 1. Discussion and deliberation on the creation of the Union of Sports Betting and Online Gaming Operators of the State of São Paulo - SINDIBETS/SP; 2. Formal foundation of the union entity; 3. Approval of the description of the economic category: Union of Sports Betting and Online Gaming Operators of the State of São Paulo - SINDIBETS/SP; 4. Approval of the state territorial base; 5. Reading, discussion, and approval of the entity's Bylaws; 6. Election and inauguration of the first Board of Directors and Fiscal Council of the Union (with vote counting, indication of the form of election, number of interested union members, number of voters, slates, number of blank and void votes, and the result of the electoral process); 7. Authorization for the elected CEO to submit the union's registration documents to the civil registry office for legal entities and the Ministry of Labor and Employment. 8. Determine the provisional address for the headquarters; 9. Determine the funding method; PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS: All companies in the sports betting and online gaming sector with proven operations in the state of São Paulo, represented by their partners, directors, or legally constituted attorneys, may participate in the meeting.
