Betnacional celebrated ‘Football Day’ with campaign starring Galvão Bueno

To celebrate Football Day last July 19, Betnacional, one of Brazil's largest iGaming companies, launched a campaign starring its ambassador Galvão Bueno and several fans. 'It's Never Just Football' connects sports enthusiasts with the world of betting, but with a focus on educational messages about Responsible Gaming. The campaign is reinforced with Super Odds for the period, seamlessly combining excitement and product.

 

The campaign was developed in-house and highlights real, spontaneous, and moving stories shared by fans, with a heartfelt tribute to Galvão Bueno. During the filming, the legendary sports commentator was surprised with messages from supporters across Brazil.

“'Football Day' is a symbolic date that goes beyond the sporting celebration — it represents national pride, emotional memories, and a strong connection with fans,” said Álvaro Garcia, Marketing Director at Flutter Brazil, which includes NSX Group, the operator behind the Betnacional brand.

This launch enhances our reach and emotional resonance with the public at a moment when attention to football is naturally heightened — especially with the return of Brazil’s top-tier football league, a matchday full of regional derbies, and exactly one year to go until the 2026 FIFA World Cup final,” he added.

The campaign strategy is focused on social media, featuring short-form audiovisual content designed to create audience identification through stories that reflect fans’ deep emotional ties to the sport.

The initiative also includes a special offer of Super Odds for the week, combining passion and product in a cohesive message.

Betnacional, the sports betting platform operated by NSX Group, part of Flutter Brazil — has been authorized to operate fixed-odds betting in the country since January 2025, in accordance with ordinance SPA/MF No. 2,092/24.

Strengthening its positioning as “the bet of Brazilians”, the brand has heavily invested in promoting national culture. It sponsors some of the country’s biggest events and shows, such as Big Brother Brasil 2025, Rio Open, Lollapalooza, Lauana Prado’s Raiz tour, and the iconic Carnaval de Salvador, among others.
