Lototins allocates 25% of proceeds to social and sports activities in Tocantins

Already available to bettors in all cities in the Tocantins, including Guaraí, the new state lottery Lototins combines entertainment with social responsibility. Established by Law No. 4,136/2023, the initiative allocates 25% of proceeds from bets to three areas: cancer treatment, support for institutions that serve people with disabilities (APAE), and sports promotion.

Of the total funds collected, 10% will be invested in cancer treatment programs within the state. Another 5% will go to APAEs (Associations of Parents and Friends of the Exceptional) and similar organizations providing services to people with disabilities.

The remaining 10% will support sports development, with a focus on nurturing young athletes across various disciplines.

Officially launched in February 2025, Lototins expects to raise up to R$600 million (US$108m) within its first five years of operation, while generating around 1,500 direct and indirect jobs.

The service is operated by a consortium of companies selected through a public bidding process. Bets can be placed in person or via the online platform available at www.lototins.com.br.

The lottery offers four types of games: fixed-odds sports betting; instant win games through physical or digital scratch cards; numerical prognostics, similar to traditional number games; and passive games with pre-numbered tickets. This variety aims to cater to different player profiles and broaden participation opportunities.
