“The update aims to maintain the sustainability of the modalities, increase the prize amounts and increase the social transfers that benefit millions of Brazilians. The bank reaffirms its commitment to transparency, social responsibility and safe entertainment,” highlights Caixa in its statement.

The new values will be valid as of July 9th and include games such as Mega Sena, Quina, Lotofácil, Dupla Sena, Super Sete and Loteca.

With the increase, the single bet of Caixa's main product, Mega Sena, which currently costs R$5 (US$0.90), will increase to R$6 (US$1.1)

Social transfers

By betting on Loterias CAIXA, Brazilians not only compete for million-dollar prizes, but also directly contribute to areas that are fundamental to the country's development. Almost half of all revenue is allocated to social transfers, as determined by current legislation, benefiting sectors such as: education, sports, culture, public safety and social security.
