According to Accreditation Notice No. 001/2025, officially published in the State Official Gazette, interested companies can now submit their accreditation documentation exclusively via the eProtocol System, in accordance with the established rules.
The notice is valid indefinitely, allowing new companies to apply for accreditation at any time, provided they fully meet the established technical, legal, and operational requirements.
The mandatory use of KYC services by operators was established by Ordinance No. 29/2025 issued by Lottopar. According to the document, all authorized concessionaires must contract with companies accredited by the Agency, both those already accredited and potential new operators, should the accreditation notice for AQF operators be reopened.
It is important to emphasize that there is no financial compensation between Lottopar and the KYC service providers. The contract is made directly between the betting operators and the accredited companies, with the parties being free to negotiate the values, terms and conditions of service provision.
"Ensuring that only duly accredited KYC companies operate in the Paraná lottery system is a fundamental measure for the safety of players, for industry control, and for the integrity of the services provided. We are building a regulated, trustworthy environment with high compliance standards for all involved," stated Fabio Veiga, Lottopar's Director of Operations.
Only identity validation services provided by companies authorized by this notice will be accepted. This ensures that the platforms operate with recognized security standards, including biometric authentication, automated document verification, international sanctions monitoring, lists of Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs), as well as alerts against fraud and money laundering.
