The SPA published in the Official Gazette of the Union this Tuesday (12) two ordinances authorizing three more sports betting and online gaming brands to begin operating in Brazil.
Ordinance No. 1761 amends No. 2099 and authorizes DigiPlus Brazil Interactive Ltda. to operate two additional brands, GamePlus and BingoPlus. Until now, the company had only been approved to operate the ArenaPlus brand, offering both sports betting and online games in the virtual format.
Ordinance No. 1762 amends the previously granted authorization to EB Intermediações e Jogos S.A., owner of the EstrelaBet brand, to include VUPI, also to operate both sports betting and online games in the virtual format.
With this measure, Brazil now has 180 sports betting and online gaming sites operated by 78 companies.
