The sector gathered on Friday, August 8, with the goal of providing qualified information and increasing transparency about one of the most promising segments of the national economy.
During the virtual meeting, which included operators, journalists, regulators, and other stakeholders, an initial alignment took place to accelerate an educational and awareness campaign about the potential of iGaming. Besides generating thousands of jobs, the sector moves billions of reais in taxes at the state, municipal, and federal levels.
Natalia Nogues, CEO of Control F5 and one of the movement’s founders, comments: “We brought together heavyweight industry professionals, all connected by a common vision and the desire to make this movement happen. It felt like starting something that goes far beyond business — it’s about transforming how Brazil sees our market.”

“This movement is crucial for the industry because it’s time to take the lead and promote education about the sector. For years, the betting market was misunderstood. MovBet comes to show, with facts and transparency, that there is serious, regulated, and responsible work behind it,” she said.
Natalia also shared the next steps: “Now it’s time for action: companies can sign up as supporters, and professionals can join working groups. Afterwards, we will hold focused meetings to align strategies. The goal is clear: to reposition the image of betting in Brazil, valuing those who act with ethics and responsibility, and opening doors for an open dialogue with society.”
The movement’s purpose is to call on more companies and professionals to expand dialogue with the press and the public, clearly explaining the economic and social impact of the sector. “Those who know iGaming understand its value, but also recognize the challenges that need urgent attention,” emphasized Conrado Caon, Commercial Director at PayMee.

Although the Brazilian market reached an estimated revenue of US$ 3.4 billion in 2023, surpassing the combined revenue of the cinema and music industries, the activity still faces resistance caused by misinformation and lack of reliable sources. In 2024, from January to April alone, the sector recorded a 37% growth in hiring compared to the same period last year, and the government projects to collect about R$ 12 billion (US$2.2bn) annually in taxes once full regulation is in place.
The meeting marked the start of a collective effort to reposition iGaming in the public debate, with actions focused on ethical, strategic, and unified communication among companies, professionals, and regulatory bodies.
The deadline to participate in the project launch is Friday, August 22. This is the chance to be among the first to join this transformation via the provided link.
