Reals has grown by over 1,000% on social media in 17 months reaching 2.5 million followers

A sponsor of AC Milan and Coritiba, Reals is a 100% Brazilian betting company with a permanent license from the Federal Government to operate in the country. With a diversified strategy, the company has been standing out in the digital landscape and, this week, reached the 2.5 million follower mark on its Instagram page (@reals.bet).

This number represents over 1,000% growth in its fan base in one year and seven months. From February 2024 – the date the marketing expansion began – to August 2025, the profile jumped from 217,000 followers to its current 2.5 million.

During this period, Reals accumulated other impressive data: around 936 million views, 16 million interactions, 13 million likes, 2.8 million comments, 330 thousand shares and 132 thousand saved posts.

Currently, Reals is among the top three brands with the largest number of followers among the more than 200 authorized betting sites operating in Brazil.

"This growth shows we're on the right track. Today, Reals is already among the most-followed betting sites in the world on Instagram. From the beginning, the idea was to be a truly present brand, one that connects with people and creates content they want to see," explains Diego Buriti, Reals' Marketing Director.

"We've moved away from that rigid communication and communicated in a way that's engaging, blending entertainment with the message of responsible gaming. That's what turns numbers into a community and makes Reals grow so quickly," adds the executive.

And the betting company's consistent activity on Instagram is evidenced by the amount of content produced by its marketing and communications team. In 19 months, there have been more than 3,300 stories, just over 1,000 reels, and a total number of posts exceeding 1,500.

Another strategy adopted is the partnership with renowned ambassadors, such as TV host Rodrigo Faro (30 million), influencer Edu Primitivo (5.9 million), and comedian Ítalo Sena (3.5 million).

For comparison, DraftKings, a North American iGaming giant, has 295,000 followers on its sportsbook account and 93,000 on its casino account.

The 2.5 million figure is also impressive when compared to other platforms: this number represents 30 packed Maracanã stadiums, or more than the entire population of Belo Horizonte, the capital of the state of Minas Gerais.

In addition to its strong performance in the digital world, Reals has also been reaping rewards in other areas: the online betting and gaming platform was recently nominated in two categories at the SBC Awards Portugal, which will take place on September 18th of this year in Lisbon. The Brazilian company will compete for "Rising Casino Star" and "Marketing Campaign of the Year."
