Superbet holds match-fixing workshops for its sponsors in partnership with Sportradar

Superbet, one of Brazil's leading sports betting platforms, launched a series of workshops focused on sports integrity and match-fixing prevention. This partnership with Sportradar reinforces its commitment to ethics and transparency in the sports betting industry and is bringing knowledge to the teams of São Paulo, Fluminense, América, and Bangu.

The first meetings took place on August 7th and 8th, with the teams of Bangu and América/RJ. The project's agenda continues in September with new workshops aimed at Fluminense and São Paulo FC, two of the most traditional clubs in Brazilian football.

The program includes lectures on combating match-fixing, betting manipulation, digital conduct, consequences, and the importance of fair play, as well as activities led by ambassadors, who share their career experiences and core values for professional sports.

"As major players in the industry and committed to a more transparent and secure ecosystem, we have an important role in actively participating in building a cleaner and safer sport. When match-fixing occurs, those who act in compliance with the law are harmed. Education and awareness are the most effective ways to protect athletes, clubs, fans, and betting platforms," emphasizes Alex Fonseca, CEO of Superbet.

"These workshops were developed to bring athletes and coaching staff members closer to the key concepts of integrity in sports. Our goal is to empower these professionals with the tools and knowledge they need to make informed decisions, both on and off the field. Superbet is on the right track by investing in education and prevention, and it's a pleasure to lead these sessions with some of Brazil's biggest football clubs," says Felippe Marchetti, Integrity Partnerships Manager at Sportradar.

In Brazil, Sportradar, a leading global sports technology company recognized as a benchmark in sports integrity, partners with the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) and 17 state federations, monitoring more than 10,000 matches per season. The company recently signed a Technical Cooperation Agreement (TCA) with the Ministries of Finance and Sports.
