The hearing was requested by Representative Caio Vianna (PSD-RJ). According to the representative, the initiative is part of the work plan approved by the subcommittee in June, which provides for seven public hearings and a final roundtable discussion on the topic.

* Fernando Vieira, Executive President of the Brazilian Institute of Responsible Gaming (IBJR);
* Diego Perez, President of the Brazilian Association of Fintechs (ABFintechs);
* Pietro Lorenzoni, Legal Director of the National Association of Games and Lotteries (ANJL);
* Marcel Fleury Pinto, process coordinator at the Superintendence of Inspection of the National Telecommunications Agency (video conference);
Legal framework
The regulation of sports betting gained prominence after the enactment of Law 14.790/23, which established the legal framework for this activity.
The purpose of the hearing is to assess the current status of implementation of the law and gather information for future legislative initiatives.
