Lottery services in both states

Lottopar and Mato Grosso do Sul sign Cooperation Agreement to exchange best practices

Lottopar and the Mato Grosso do Sul State Finance Department (Sefaz/MS) signed a Cooperation Agreement to exchange data and information, as well as to carry out joint actions aimed at developing and improving the management of the public lottery service in both states.

The partnership does not involve the transfer of financial resources between the parties. The main focus is mutual collaboration, sharing expertise, experiences, and best practices in lottery structuring and management. The Cooperation Agreement is valid for five years.

For Lottopar President Daniel Romanowski, the exchange between the states strengthens sector regulation and the fight against illegal gambling.

"Exchanging experiences is valuable both with states that already have operating lotteries and with those that are organizing themselves. Paraná has become a benchmark in combating illegal gambling, and newcomers also contribute an outside perspective. This exchange of experiences is what will ensure that public lottery services in Brazil are safe and sustainable," he emphasizes.

Main points of the cooperation

- Knowledge exchange
: Lottopar and Sefaz/MS commit to exchanging materials and guidance to optimize the development and execution of activities related to the public lottery service in both states.

- Integrated actions: The agreement provides for the implementation of projects, activities, and events of mutual interest, promoting integration between technical teams.

- Personnel training: The parties may offer vacancies in training and development events for employees, strengthening professional qualifications in both states.

- Data protection: One of the pillars of the agreement is the commitment to the General Data Protection Law (LGPD), ensuring the confidentiality and secrecy of shared information.

The signing of the Cooperation Agreement reinforces Lottopar's commitment to excellence and transparency, establishing a bridge for learning and development with other states seeking to modernize and strengthen their lottery operations.
