Analome brought local lotteries to the 67th State Congress of Municipalities

The 67th State Congress of Municipalities, held in São Paulo, brought together 580 mayors from the 645 municipalities of the state, consolidating its position as one of the most important meetings on the Brazilian political and institutional calendar. The event was attended by the National Association of Municipal and State Lotteries (Analome) and hosted debates on important topics, such as financial challenges, budgetary realities, and other aspects of daily life in cities.

The National Association of Municipal and State Lotteries (Analome) was present at the congress with a booth dedicated to local lotteries, an initiative that attracted municipal managers from all regions. The meeting began on Tuesday (26) and ended this Thursday (28).

For Analome Vice President, Hiago Piau, the participation reinforces the growth and maturity of this segment as a tool for strengthening public revenue.

"This is one of the most important events on the institutional calendar because it brings together practically all of the state's mayors in one place, and it's a unique opportunity to engage directly with public officials. Bringing the municipal lottery agenda to this level demonstrates how much it has gained relevance, maturity, and acceptance from city officials."

"With each conversation we have, it becomes clearer: municipal officials understand that the lottery agenda is serious, legal, and can become a source of real revenue for their municipalities," he emphasized.

The Analome booth has become a meeting point for mayors interested in learning about opportunities and models for implementing local lotteries.

"Our booth was packed the entire time. Mayors from all regions came to chat, ask questions, seek guidance, and left wanting to move forward with the implementation of the public lottery service. And we remain steadfast, making our presence felt, opening doors, and helping municipalities turn this idea into reality," the vice president added.

The event was organized by the São Paulo Association of Municipalities (APM) and this year received support from the City of São Paulo.
