Betano will also make its debut on Flamengo’s jersey this Sunday at Maracanã, in the 22nd round of the league. The pre-match festivities will include live shows and fan activations, designed to take advantage of the game’s prime-time exposure.
Tickets are already sold out — around 60,000 were sold and 64,000 issued. There will also be 3D mosaics in the North and South stands and personalized Flamengo crests in the East stand (20,000).
Even before its official debut on Flamengo’s uniform, the betting company had already sent a message. In the historic 8–0 victory over Vitória, Flamengo displayed the phrase “A Nação confia” (“The Nation trusts”) in the prime jersey space — Betano’s first statement symbolizing the maturity of this partnership.
The club’s official store at Maracanã was already selling jerseys with the Betano logo, while company employees and influencers attended the match to create content for social media.
The contract with Betano is the largest sponsorship deal in the history of Brazilian football, worth R$ 268 million (US$49.5m) annually in an agreement running until the end of 2028.
The deal includes brand exposure on Flamengo’s professional football, basketball, and volleyball teams, as well as on the travel uniforms of its Olympic sports squads.
