BiS SiGMA signs alliance with Analome and Jogo Positivo to strengthen the lottery agenda in Brazil

BiS SiGMA – a union between the Brazilian iGaming Summit (BiS) and Malta-based SiGMA Group – has announced a strategic institutional support alliance with the National Association of Municipal Lotteries (Analome) and the Brazilian Association for Positive Gaming (AJP). The three organizations confirm their participation in the 3rd National Congress of Municipal Lotteries, to be held on August 13–14 in São Paulo.

The partnership integrates the leading networking and business platform for gaming, betting, and lotteries in Latin America with the body that leads the public debate on local lotteries.

According to Nuno Bispo, Marketing Director at BiS SiGMA, the cooperation stems from shared goals. “The gaming and betting industry in Brazil is going through a period of expansion, especially in digital channels, but the legacy of lotteries remains central to this ecosystem. By supporting the congress organized by Jogo Positivo and Analome, we are joining forces to boost this debate and share experiences that complement the work already being done by the association and local managers,” he says.

Expected to gather around 200 participants, the 3rd National Congress of Municipal Lotteries will focus on panels covering taxation, concession models, integrity, and economic sustainability. Executives from operators, suppliers, legal experts, and public managers will share insights on how to structure municipal lotteries efficiently and responsibly. The event will also include international case studies to broaden participants' regulatory perspectives.

Camilo Roma de Brito, President of Analome, believes the partnership with BiS SiGMA reinforces the organization’s mission. “Our goal remains to bring together public managers, operators, and civil society to discuss the strengthening of subnational lotteries. Having BiS SiGMA — known for bringing decision-makers together from the gaming, betting, and lottery ecosystem — adds value to the congress and expands the reach of the debate, especially at a time when several municipalities are evaluating sustainable models to implement their own lotteries,” he highlights.

For Filipe Alves Rodrigues, founder of the National Congress of Municipal Lotteries and CEO of Jogo Positivo, the partnership with BiS SiGMA represents a significant milestone for the sector's growth.

“We welcome this alliance with great enthusiasm because it means more than institutional support — it recognizes the importance of municipal lotteries in the national landscape. BiS SiGMA is one of the world’s top references for promoting networking, knowledge, and business in the gaming and betting space. Having them on board for this edition of the congress increases the event’s visibility, enriches the debate, and connects municipal managers with proven experiences and solutions from other markets,” he says.

“We believe that by joining forces, we can accelerate the professionalization, transparency, and sustainability of the lottery segment, ensuring it fulfills its social and economic roles responsibly. It’s a partnership that inspires trust, drives innovation, and opens new horizons for the future of Brazilian municipal lotteries,” Filipe Alves Rodrigues adds.

This collaborative effort reflects the sector’s commitment to aligning public discourse around municipal lotteries. By coordinating local agendas with the international iGaming calendar, BiS SiGMA, Jogo Positivo, and Analome contribute to establishing consistent regulatory benchmarks, attracting private investment, and ensuring transparency in lottery operations.
