Betano rises as the 8th most searched term on Google Brazil

Among the most searched terms on Google Brazil, there are names that reflect Brazilians' digital routines: WhatsApp Web, Xvideos, YouTube, Weather. But in 2025, one name stands out among the top 10 — and it's neither a social network nor a productivity tool. It's Betano, the sports betting and online gaming brand of global leader Kaizen Gaming.

In July 2025, Betano ranked as the 8th most searched term in the country on Google, according to exclusive data from Aposta Legal, which monitors monthly search volumes by Brazilian users.

With 30.9 million monthly searches, the iGaming platform ranks ahead of major brands like ChatGPT (9th), Flamengo (10th), and even Instagram (11th).

While Brazilians use Google as a gateway for quick, objective services like weather forecasts or translation tools, interest in online betting has grown steadily.

In Betano's case, search volume rose by 3.5% over the last three months and by 16.8% year-over-year, driven by sports sponsorships, aggressive campaigns, and regulation, which enabled the betting operator to invest in advertising.

 


Betano’s success is also linked to its digital marketing strategy. Among the top 10 most searched keywords in the country, Betano holds the highest CPC (Cost Per Click), set at US$ 0.25.

This means that, on average, each click on a Betano ad costs the advertiser 25 cents, or R$ 1.37, much higher than the US$ 0.01 (R$ 0.05) paid for clicks on terms like “WhatsApp Web” or “YouTube.” The data comes from the monitoring platform Ahrefs.

Another key metric is engagement, measured by CPS (Clicks Per Search). With a rate of 45%, Betano outperforms informational queries like “Weather” (CPS of 25%), showing that nearly half of users click on a result after typing the brand name into Google.

Other betting brands also made it into the top 50 most searched terms on Google Brazil, including bet365 (21st), Superbet (29th), Betnacional (44th), and Esportes da Sorte (49th).

Betano is the most visited 'Bets' in Brazil

Betano is the most visited betting platform in Brazil. In Q2 2025 alone, the brand registered 1.62 billion visits, with over 65 million unique visitors in July.

Additionally, 98% of searches for "Betano" come from mobile devices, showing that users are accessing the service directly from their phones, often with the intent to bet, a behavior typical of platforms with a strong transactional and immediate appeal.
