“If you witness an illegal gambling crime — such as a clandestine bingo hall, slot machines, or any unauthorized game — you can report it immediately, either by calling 181 or through the website. All you need to do is describe what’s happening and provide the location address. The report is immediately forwarded to the relevant authorities. And best of all: you don’t need to identify yourself,” says the director of Operations, Fabio Veiga.
The report can also be made after the event, in case the person has relevant information about places that operate regularly but engage in illegal practices. “Even if you’ve already left the location, you can still report it. The more details, the better: days and times, photos, vehicle plates, everything helps in the inspection process,” explains the Lottopar director.
In addition to raising awareness about illegality, Lottopar highlights the risks and social impacts of underground gambling.
“Reporting illegal gambling is more than a civic act. It’s a direct way to combat organized crime. These practices not only harm consumers but can also finance activities such as drug trafficking, money laundering, and corruption. Legalized gambling, on the other hand, provides safety, traceability, job creation, revenue, and is fully regulated,” emphasizes Veiga.
This initiative is part of Lottopar’s efforts to protect consumers, promote safe practices, and reinforce legality in the betting and gaming sector in the state of Paraná. “Count on Lottopar and the 181 channel.
Visit www.denuncia181.pr.gov.br. It’s safe, anonymous, and free. Legality starts with your action,” concludes Veiga.
