In his justification, the deputy states that representatives from the sports sector have expressed doubts regarding the criteria for allocating funds among the various involved parties.
According to Júlio César Ribeiro, the objective is to promote a constructive debate on the mechanisms for applying and distributing the collected funds to ensure predictability, transparency, and effectiveness in strengthening national sports.
“This public hearing aims to bring together key government actors, operators, and representatives of sports entities to discuss possible regulatory and legislative improvements that contribute to the fair allocation of resources, in line with the principles of equity and good public governance,” he concludes.
