Barcelona favored to win the Champions League
Data from Kaizen Gaming, collected on Betano’s online betting and gaming platform across 19 countries, points to Barcelona as the favorite to win the 2025-26 Champions League. The group stage kicks off on September 16. The Spanish club leads with 40% of all bets placed.
In the other two European club competitions, Roma holds 22% of bettor preference to win the Europa League, while Crystal Palace leads the pack in the Conference League.
Champions League predictions:
Barcelona dominates while PSG slips: Despite a relatively quiet transfer window compared to its English rivals, Barcelona is well ahead of Real Madrid, which sits second with 14%, followed by Liverpool with 13%. Defending champions PSG have just 8%, with Bayern Munich rounding out the top five at 5%.
Barcelona vs. Liverpool final: Fans expect a showdown between Barcelona and Liverpool. The Spaniards are tipped to reach the final in 36% of bets, while the English club follows with 23%.
Europa League predictions:
Three clubs lead the way: With qualifying matches concluded, Roma (22%), Nottingham Forest (21%), and Aston Villa (18%) emerge as the top choices for lifting the trophy. Last season ended with an all-English final between Tottenham and Manchester United. According to current predictions, two more English teams appear among the favorites. Porto (6.82%) and PAOK (6.79%) complete the top five, with the Greek club being the biggest surprise.
Conference League predictions:
Crystal Palace ahead: Fans see Crystal Palace as the strongest contender, with nearly one-third of bets (32%). In second place, Fiorentina and Greece’s AEK are tied at 25% each. The Italian side has already reached the final twice, while Olympiacos’ 2024 triumph raised expectations for another Greek victory. Shakhtar Donetsk (Ukraine) has 4% of bets, and Spain’s Rayo Vallecano rounds out the top five with 3.5%.
