“Betpilot boosted retention by over 27% in the first month with its own solution”

Betpilot, an AI betting tool, reduced churn and increased player retention and dwell time. According to João Victor Godoy, the company's CEO, the partnership with Weebet boosted results and enabled game personalization. The platform is also already integrated with Naipe, serving operations of various sizes.

 

GMB – How is Betpilot’s artificial intelligence project applied to sports betting and online gaming progressing?
João Victor Godoy – It’s going very well. We’ve had positive feedback from some operators about Betpilot, a retention tool designed to improve the user experience. We’ve been working hard on retention, which has always been somewhat overlooked by operators who used to focus more on acquisition. Several studies show that it is 25 times cheaper to keep a player than to acquire a new one.

So, our job is to create a differentiated journey for the bettor and, consequently, improve retention statistics for the operation. We conducted a study with some operators over the past three months that showed Betpilot was able to reduce churn by 27% in the first month, 22% in the second, and 15% in the third. In the long run, this reduction tends to stabilize in the 10% to 15% range. In terms of cost reduction, the operation was very successful.

Another interesting fact is that we managed to increase the bettor’s average time on the platform by 15%. In other words, they spend more time with the operator thanks to our tool.

Was the partnership with Weebet fundamental for the dissemination of the Betpilot project? How has that work been developed with them?
The figures I mentioned were collected from operators using the Weebet platform. They have always supported us and understood that our solution is a differentiator for their clients as well as the end user. We’ve been able to gain traction within the Weebet ecosystem, consistently bringing improvements to operators on the platform.

Now, we are working on a new experience where, in casino games, the game’s image changes depending on the player’s profile. If I log into the platform and you log in with your profile, you might see a different image. We identify what attracts the player most to that specific casino game. This was something we discussed with Weebet to implement on the platform.

Did Weebet and Betpilot expect the success of this tool?
We knew the numbers would improve, but we didn’t imagine it would be such a high percentage. We expected something around 10%, but we were surprised by the 27% we achieved.

Weebet recently launched Naipe. Will this solution also be available for the smaller operations proposed by the provider?
Absolutely. Betpilot is a technology that understands the player, regardless of the size of the operation. It recognizes the player’s profile to offer personalized content. The new platform already has the integration available.
